Capital Itinerary. Hall of Governors Mexico City is a panoramic reflection on the Governors that Mexico City has had over the years.

It is not limited to presenting a mere inventory or directory of rulers of the city, but through a well-hierarchized design, an articulation of the ruler with the facts and processes that marked his administration (infrastructure, events and laws) was established, fostering a lively reading that reflects in scale the complex relationship with the governed.

From 1823 to the present, Mexico City has had different governors at its head, according to the oscillations in its legal conformation:
1823 – 1928: 154 Governors
1929 – 1997: 24 Department Heads.
1997 – 2024: 7 Heads of Government
